Toms River's Basement & Foundation Contractor

[Company] has been serving Toms River residents for over 25 years. We provide you permanent solutions for basements, crawl spaces and foundations. We are known for our trusted work and patented basement products. For basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, foundation repair, and concrete lifting we are Toms River's respected contractor.

Basement Waterproofing & Crawl Space Repair

If you are dealing with flooding, moisture or mold in your basement or crawl space we can provide the solution you need. We waterproof and protect basements by installing a perimeter drainage system along the interior of the basement. Any water entering is collected and channeled to a high-volume sump pump where it is pumped out and away from your basement.

We also install an energy-efficient dehumidifier designed specifically for the basement. By controlling the relative humidity moisture is controlled and mold is prevented. Our basement work in Toms River comes with a transferable lifetime dry-basement warranty.

We Provide:
  • Basement Waterproofing
  • Crawl Space Encapsulation
  • Exclusive, Patented Products
  • Humidity Control
  • Egress Windows
You Receive:
  • Permanently Dry Basement
  • Clean Protected Crawlspace
  • Protection against Mold
  • Improved Home Value
  • Better Energy Efficiency & Less Leaks

Similar to the basement we also waterproof the crawl space by sealing and encapsulating it with heavy-duty vinyl vapor barrier. If needed a crawl space sump can be installed along with a dehumidifier. Like the basement this controls moisture in the space preventing mold and rot.

If the floor above the crawl space is cold we can add proper insulation to make it more comfortable. Instead of a debris filled nest for mold and racoons your crawl space will be a clean dry area you can use for extra storage space!

Foundation Repair & Concrete Leveling

If your home is facing structural issues stemming from the foundation we can restore the foundation and prevent future issues. Using warranted foundation repair products we repair the foundation using non-invasive techniques, no torn up fixed foundations. Give us a call to have one of our foundation repair specialists visit your Toms River home for a free inspection. 1-732-697-0557

Repairs for:
  • Wall Cracks
  • Bowing Walls
  • Uneven Floors
  • Settling Foundations
  • Uneven Concrete Slabs
We Use:
  • Wall Anchors
  • I-Beam Wall Braces
  • Foundation & Slab Piers
  • Crawl Space Jack Posts
  • PolyLEVEL

For homeowners dealing with sunken concrete slabs we have simple solution, PolyLEVEL. PolyLEVEL is a polyurethane foam that we inject below the sunken concrete slab. The foam quickly expands to fill the empty space and raise the slab back to its original position.

PolyLEVEL is a certain improvement over the mudslurry that most contractors use. Not only is it lighter, but it doesn't wash away, is injected through smaller holes and cures faster.

Settled Concrete Walkway Repair In Toms River, NJ

A homeowner in Toms River, NJ, faced significant structural issues with their front sidewalk, which had resulted in substantial settlement and cracking, leading to an uneven and hazardous surface that detracted from their home's curb appeal. Concerned about unsafe walking conditions and the overall aesthetic appeal, they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems for a solution.

After a thorough inspection, our system design specialist Nelson recommended PolyLevel Foam Injections to address the settlement. This technique involved our foreman Ash to inject our specially formulated high-density polyurethane foam beneath the sunken concrete slabs, which expanded and hardened to lift the sidewalk back to its original level and provide long-term stability. To complete this essential repair process, our ultraviolet resistant NexusPro Joint Sealant was applied to fill the cracks and joints, offering a durable, flexible barrier against water infiltration and further damage from possible erosion.

The result was a significantly improved sidewalk that was not only safer and exponentially more stable but also entirely enhanced in appearance, restoring the homeowner's confidence in their exterior space and showcasing Quality 1st Basement Systems’ effective approach to concrete repair challenges!

Pool Deck Repair in Toms River, NJ

This Toms River, NJ homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems after discovering their pool deck had settled two inches deep. Before they could close their pool, the homeowner wanted to make sure their deck was fully repaired and ready for the next summer. After searching the Internet for possible solutions, the homeowner found Quality 1st Basement Systems and thought they would be the perfect fit.

After speaking with our customer service representative, the homeowner scheduled an appointment for our System Design Specialist, Chris Bowe, to provide a full inspection and quote for the pool deck. Once Chris arrived at the home, he inspected the pool deck and recommended the Polylevel Injection would be the perfect solution. Within the next few days, our crew arrived to repair the pool deck.

First, our crew drilled small, penny-like holes into the concrete slab. Next, using specially designed equipment, our crew injected small structural graded polymers into the void. Once the void has been filled, the polymers expand raising the concrete slab to its desired height. This process is repeated until the pool deck has been fully raised. Finally, our crew used sealed any cracks and gaps using our NexusPro Seal.

In conclusion, the repair project was a success. The homeowner was thrilled to see their pool deck fully repaired and ready to be closed for the winter.

Concrete Sidewalk Repair in Toms River, NJ

A homeowner in Toms River, NJ knew it was time to have their sidewalk repaired after the concrete slabs were uneven. Uneven concrete provides numerous home issues including decreasing property value, creates tripping hazards, and providing an unclean look for the home. The homeowner did not want these problems to occur, so they contacted their most trusted contractor, Quality 1st Basement Systems.

After a quick phone call, the homeowner scheduled an appointment with our System Design Specialist, Chris Bowe. Once Chris arrived at the home, he measured the concrete slabs to indicate how deep they have sunken. Concluding that the sidewalk had sunken three inches deep, Chris knew this would be an easy repair using our PolyLevel Injection

Our Polylevel Injection is our most used and best method of repairing concrete. The polymer foam is completely waterproof, environmentally friendly, and has a fast recovery time of fifteen minutes. Unlike mudjacking, Polylevel is injected through small penny-like holes in the slabs, so it does not create a big mess.

Basement Waterproofing in Toms River, NJ

This homeowner living in Toms River, NJ needed their basement waterproofed. The homeowner was referred to Quality 1st Basements to help waterproof their basement. System Design Specialist, Kenneth Peare, inspected the homeowner's basement and recommended certain products to help waterproof their basement. The major components of the homeowner's waterproofing system included the instillation of Waterguard, TripleSafe SumpPump, and SaniDry XP.

The WaterGuard collected water that seeped through the basement walls and drained it to the sump pump. WaterGuard installs quickly and has a clean finished appearance, meaning the homeowner didn't have to worry about having an unsightly drain around the basement. The TripleSafe SumpPump removed water from the basement while providing three levels of protection. It has a second pump for large volumes of water and another pump that runs on a back up battery in case of a power outage, which can be really useful. Finally, the SaniDry XP dehumidifies the homeowner's basement, leaving it dry and water free.

Project Manager, Juan Garcia, installed the waterproofing products in the homeowner's basement. Now the homeowner's basement pumps out water clean and efficiently leaving it dry and clean.

PolyLevel Lifts Sinking Slabs Around a Pool in Toms River, NJ

Mr. M. from Toms River, NJ had a concrete patio area around his pool which was beginning to sink.  It was potentially a trip hazard due to the difference in height of the slabs.  One day, while listening to the radio, Mr. M. heard about Quality 1st Basement Systems.  After further research and more curiosity, he wondered if the PolyLevel process advertised for lifting and leveling concrete could be the solution he was searching for, so he called Quality 1st and scheduled an appointment for a free estimate.

Mr. M. decided to have Quality 1st Basement Systems complete the work and, since PolyLEVEL cures within 15 minutes, the concrete area around his pool was soon no longer a tripping hazard and ready to be walked on again in almost no time!
