A homeowner in North Plainfield, New Jersey noticed their crawl space was attracting moisture. This can happen when a crawl space isn't sealed from the earth's elements. Solution

The homeowner did not want this issue to go without a solution, so they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems after searching online. Our customer care representative booked them an appointment with our System Design Specialist, Joe Mancini. Joe provided a thorough inspection and suggested they encapsulate the space to separate it from the earth's elements. A few days later, our foreman Mario arrived and began the process of encapsulating the space. This is done by installing the Drainage Matting on the floor of the crawl space. This will direct any water getting into your crawl space to your perimeter drain. Mario also installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System. CleanSpace is a thick and durable liner that is mold-proof and waterproof. This system will block moisture and humidity from entering the crawl space, keeping it dry and healthy! When the job was complete, the homeowner was happy with the results!
