Quality 1st Basement Systems was contacted by a homeowner living in Newtown, PA. The homeowner found water was seeping through the walls of their crawl space, creating a wet atmosphere. A wet crawl space can easily lead to humidity issues and create some unhealthy areas in your home. Our System Design Specialist, Dane, provided a thorough inspection of the home.
Solution
Dane carefully inspected the crawl space and found the walls contain thin cracks which allowed water to seep inside. He presented this to the homeowner and recommended the WaterGuard French Drain and SmartSump Pump System as the best solution. WaterGuard is designed to collect water seeping into the crawl space and direct it to the SmartSump Pump system where it will be pumped away from the crawl space. A few weeks later, our crew arrived at the home and installed the systems. Since the installation, the homeowner has not experienced any other water issues in their crawl space.
