Concrete Leveling in Hillsborough
Challenge
A homeowner in Hillsborough, NJ noticed that his driveway had been sinking for some time. He contacted Foundation SupportWorks of New Jersey, a division of Quality 1st Basement Systems, for a free in-home estimate to solve his sinking concrete problem. System Design Specialist, Ken Peare, inspected the property and determined that the concrete driveway was sinking due to settlement of the soil underneath the property. The soil compressed and settled creating a void under the driveway which caused the concrete to sink.
Solution
Foundation SupportWorks of New Jersey installed PolyLEVEL to raise the driveway to the desired level and prevent future issues. The homeowner considered replacing his driveway but the cost of replacement far exceeded the budget that he had laid out for the project. Mudjacking was also a possible solution for this Hillsborough home, but due to the large, unsightly holes that would be left behind from the mudjacking process, the homeowner decided against this process. PolyLEVEL was his perfect solution.
PolyLEVEL is the modern, efficient, and cost-effective solution for sinking concrete. PolyLEVEL uses high-density polymers to raise concrete slabs back to their original levels. PolyLEVEL does not leave large gaping holes similar to mudjacking. It is lightweight which means it will not cause future settlement. PolyLEVEL takes minutes to cure which means this homeowner had use of his driveway almost immediately. Now this Hillsborough homeowner has removed the unsightly uneven concrete which has provided a safer environment for his family and their vehicles!
