WaterGuard Installation in Bellmawr, NJ

Challenge

As is the case with most basements, this Bellmawr, NJ home's basement was subject to flooding in the events of heavy rains. With water comes damage, especially when water finds its ways through weaknesses in foundation walls and sits in basements without making its way into the sump pump. Lingering moisture can encourage mold growth or structural damage, which no homeowner wants to have in their home. That's why this homeowner contacted Quality 1st so we could help dry up their space and save their basement from further harm.

Solution

Our System Design Specialist assessed the home's basement and the water seepage that was present. He provided the homeowner with a free estimate, upon which the homeowner decided to move forward with the installation of our waterproofing system. Our Foreman and crew came to the home to install our WaterGuard Perimeter Drains. WaterGuard is installed beneath the basement flooring and creates a channel for leaking water to flow through, leading it to the sump pump. To maximize the water acceptance into this drain, TrenchLock Drain Inserts were attached to areas of the drain line. These inserts allow more water to seep into the drain without any potentially-hazardous air from the channels being allowed back up. With these drains and inserts in place, any water that leaks into this home's basement will have a clear path into the sump pump and away from the home. 

Thanks to our team, this homeowner can rest assured that their basement has a proper waterproofing system to channel leaking water into the sump pump. No more wet floors for this basement!
