Uneven concrete fixed by PolyLevel
Challenge
Burlington homeowner noticed that the uneven levels of concrete around his home were causing water issues. The sunken concrete created a dip in the back of his home which was causing water to pool right at his door. The water would seep into his home causing damage to his floors and caused humidity issues.
Solution
Quality 1st Basement Systems inspected the property and determined that the uneven concrete was due to soil settlement. The concrete slabs had put too much pressure on the loose soil underneath them causing the slabs to sink. During rain, this homeowner always had a large puddle of water right at his back door.
The Quality 1st Basement Systems installation team used PolyLEVEL concrete leveling system to bring the concrete slabs back to their original levels. PolyLEVEL uses high-density polymers to raise slabs back to the desired level. PolyLEVEL is injected into the void underneath the slabs through penny sized holes precisely lifting and stabilizing the slab. PolyLEVEL is a less expensive, neater, and much faster alternative to traditional mudjacking. This homeowner recently experienced his first rain storm since concrete leveling was completed and had no puddles of water puddling near his door or draining into his home!
