Our team at Quality 1st Basement Systems was approached by a homeowner in Salem, NJ, who were struggling with a damp, mold-infested basement and adjacent garage that had become practically unusable. Our System Design Specialist, Anthony visited the property to conduct a thorough inspection of the basement and garage. He identified the root causes of the water intrusion and mold issues, which were primarily linked to the floor and wall seams, along with excess humidity in the air.

Anthony proposed a comprehensive, multi-step solution designed to address the full scope of the problem:

WaterGuard Drainage System: This was installed along the perimeter of the basement to effectively capture and direct water leakage from the walls and floor seams. The system would prevent water from pooling and causing further damage to the foundation.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System: To ensure reliable water removal, the TripleSafe system was installed. This robust sump pump provided dependable drainage even in the event of power loss or pump failure, offering the homeowner peace of mind during heavy rains.
