Basement Home Waterproofed in North Bergen, NJ

Challenge

A finished basement apartment in North Bergen was experiencing flooding issues. The owner loved his home and wanted to protect it by waterproofing the entire apartment. He worried that the flooding would ruin his furniture and other posessions if left unchecked and knew the extreme damage that excessive water could cause. He also knew that if he didn't find a way to waterproof his home, mold growth would be soon to follow.

Solution

The Quality 1st Basement Sytems team had the right products to waterproof his home and got to work installing a TripleSafe sump pump. A TripleSafe sump pump system would drain the basement home of any water by pushing it out and away from the home's foundation. The TripleSafe sump pump is designed to work effectively, which means that it is resistant to clogs. This system also comes with a back-up battery, which prevents the TripleSafe sump pump from ever failing due to power outages.

In addition to the new TripleSafe sump pump, the Quality 1st Basement Systems crew installed a WaterGuard system. The WaterGuard is an interior waterproofing system catches moisture from the walls and floors to protect homes from water damage. The WaterGuard works in conjunction with sump pumps, collecting seepage and draining into the sump pump system to be pushed out of the home, keeping homes safe and dry!
