Quality 1st Basement Systems Finishes Maywood, NJ Basement
Challenge
The owners of this Maywood, NJ home had a basement water problem for years. The water typically was a problem in the front corner of their home, and they wanted to have the problem addressed by Quality 1st Basement Systems. Ken Peare inspected the basement and found a finished basement that showed signs of years of leaking water. The homeowners wanted to fix their basement waterproofing problem and reclaim this basement space with a dry, fresh, modern look.
Solution
Quality 1st Basement Systems installed a complete waterproofing system in the home to keep the entire basement dry all of the time. WaterGuard basement waterproofing system was installed around the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard works by catching water before it enters the basement and drains the water out to the sump pump. A TripleSafe battery back-up sump pump was installed to work with the WaterGuard system and pump the water out and away from the basement. The TripleSafe Sump Pump has a battery back-up which means that it will never fail these homeowners even in the event that their power goes out. Basement to Beautiful Basement Wall Panels were then installed to insulate the basement.
To refinish this basement space, Quality 1st Basement Systems installed EverLast Basement Wall Panels throughout the basement. EverLast Wall Panels are durable, mold-resistant, and completely waterproof making them the ideal walls in this basement. ThermalDry basement floor tiles were installed to compliment the EverLast panels. ThermalDry flooring is also ideal in this basement because it is completely waterproof and helps insulate what is typically a cold area of this home. A SaniDry basement dehumidifier was also installed to circulate and clean the basement air removing all indoor allergens and moisture from the basement. The homeowners love the look of their new basement and are relieved that their basement is now a healthy space of their home!
