A beautifully finished basement is often the coziest, most prefered room in the house. However, a wet unfinished basement is a big pest! A homeowner in the Township of Washington, NJ wanted his basement to be a place for storage and relaxing. After looking up ideas he decided to call Quality 1st Basement Systems to renovate and waterproof his basement.

Solution

Basement specialist Ken Peare visited the property and spoke to the homeowner. Ken took a reading of the humidity and it was very high, making the basement uncomfortable. In order to make this basement a comfortable living space, it had to be waterproofed and the humidity needed to be lowered. With the homeowner, he established a plan of action to transform this drab basement into a secure, safe, living space. Then, to lower the humidity the installation crew installed a SaniDry dehumidifier. Lowered humidity will ensure that pesky mold doesn't grow.
