Castle Of Dreams Dog Rescue at Quality 1st Basement Systems
Rescuing dogs is hard, sometimes heartbreaking, yet always rewarding. When Jeanne, the office receptionist here at Quality 1st, asked if she could post a few flyers for Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue’s adoptable dogs, owner Tom Roman said, “Of course!” Now every week profiles of dogs and puppies go up around the office at Quality 1st Basement Systems in an effort to help them find forever homes.
Castle of Dreams, a non-profit organization, takes in animals from high-kill shelters up and down the east coast. Securing them in foster families, paying for veterinary care, and making sure the animals are given proper care, love, and attention until good homes can be found. Volunteers work hard year round to fundraise to pay for vaccinations, spay/neutering, and emergency veterinary care. One sick or injured dog could quickly accumulate thousands of dollars in vet bills, so the group is always on the lookout for donations or new fundraising ideas.
More volunteers are always needed at Castle of Dreams. Fostering, fundraising, planning adoption days, transporting dogs, and community outreach are just a few of the opportunities for volunteering. The staff at Quality 1st Basement Systems thanks Jeanne for her efforts in giving back to the community and providing all employees with the opportunity to help this cause.
