Bring Your Child to Work Day Thrills Employees
On Thursday, April 28 Quality 1st Basement Systems celebrated Bring Your Child to Work Day at the office! Employees with children took their family along to the job for a day, to show their family what working at the Quality 1st is like. Children watched their parents in the Appointment Center make phone calls and help customers, gaining a new appreciation for their parent's hard work. The children enjoyed lots of craft activities, making their own wooden toys, lunch time, and jumping in a bouncey castle! The day was full of laughter and fun, from adults and children alike.
After lunch the surprises weren’t over. All of the employees and their children were treated to ice cream from an ice cream truck. There were lots of smiles, dipping milk shakes, and happiness throughout the day. Owner Tom Roman said, while watching his son play with other children, “Family comes first. When our families are happy, we are happy.”
Bring Your Child to work day was a big success and has been the talk of the office ever since! Everyone looks forward to celebrating it again next year.
