The May 2012 Wow Service Crew of the Month Contest
Quality 1st Basement Systems has concluded our 2nd WOW Serice Crew of the Month Contest for May. This competition was between 5 crews and we want to congratulate Foreman Victor Leon and his crew, Moises and Francisco, for doing an excellent job and winning the contest for May. They will be rewarded with a $200 shopping spree at the Home Depot!!
This contest was designed to emphasize what our production teams already do, which is excellent work and great customer service. The contest was based on the following criteria:
Job site inspection review: Total value of 100 possible points
This inspection is intense. There are 30 possible items to be checked off as Yes or No with 3 points for each yes. The final 10 points are based off of the inspectors comments and overall comments of the job site.
Each type of job has a different criteria, for example a waterproofing installation review has the following categories: Prep-work, Product installation, Concrete, Job Completion. Within these categories are the details to the overall success of the job.
Four of the five crews received an 88% or better which is outstanding, and the fifth crew was able to make some adjustments after the inspection and has really come on strong.
Percentage of jobs completed and paid for the month: Total value of 100 possible points
This is an excellent indicator of our foreman properly communicating with our customers. They are authorized to collect payment in full upon completion of the work, and when they do the final inspection with the homeowner, they give them the invoice and accept payment.
Three of the five crews had over a 92% job completion and payment. We are always training on this and the crews do an excellent job.
Truck Cleanliness: Total value of 5 points per week, 4 week maximum value of 20 points
This also represents the professionalism of our company by keeping our vehicles neat and clean, they are not just box trucks to us, they also serve as a marketing tool.
Internet Customer reviews: Each review is worth 2 points and must be over a 4 star review to be counted.
Potential clients are very educated and we have found that they really like to review the company that they are going to be doing business with, both the products and what their existing customers have to say. People like to hear what other real people have to say and they, of course, do like to see favorable reviews on the internet.
The caveat here is that in the contest there is the ability to get a review for each job, the more you get the more points they accumulate and the potential for points is uncapped.
As you can see, this is a very detailed contest and if everyone does their jobs you can see that they can accumulate up to 220 points on perfect scoring, plus as many 4 star reviews as they can get.
We had 4 crews over 200 points which is outstanding!!!!!!
The contest was exciting and 4 crews were within 15 points of the winner.
Stay tuned for the June winner!
