As an expert service technician with Quality 1st Basement Systems, it is my job to perform the highest level of customer service and satisfaction possible, as is expected of all employees with Quality 1st. A large part of my role here is to perform complete annual service maintenance and evaluations to ensure that customers systems work effectively and answer any questions they may have while I am in-home. I follow strict guidelines on how annual maintenance, as well as how any other services we may be providing that day, are performed, whether it’s upgrading the system or resolving a potential problem the homeowner may have.
No matter what, I strive to give our customers the best possible experience I can.
So what is annual maintenance?
Our annual maintenance service consists of evaluating all aspects of the home. We start out by performing an interior and exterior inspection alongside the homeowner. After this is complete and I explain the other steps I will be performing while at their home, I begin my services by removing the pumps and cleaning out the sump liner. This is important because any debris that may be stuck in this liner could affect the way the pumps work, which could be disastrous in emergency situations.
After this has been cleaned, I flood test the entire system, checking all aspects to ensure that the water is flowing properly through the Water Guard to the sump liner. There are numerous steps after this that we take to complete the proper annual service, but each one depends on the system you have installed in your home.
By tailoring this service to your needs, we hope to give you the best possible experience with our products and hope that they last you a long time, ensuring your basement stays dry, your crawlspace stays clean and your foundation stays stable.
