IceGuards come through as the hero of the current cold streak. As our service techs have been out doing annual inspections on sump pumps, the ice guards have been saving basements all over New Jersey. Our patented Ice Guard System goes on the discharge line in case of discharge line freezing. When a discharge line freezes, it blocks the ability of the pump to pump water outside. With the IceGuard on the discharge line, the line is able to vent at all times and the pump can function properly. It may be the least expensive item to purchase, but in the event of a deep freeze, it could save your basement.
