Finishing Basement Flooring in Berlin, NJ
In a home with a finished basement, leaking water can infiltrate and damage the interior of the living space in many different ways. The homeowner wanted to protect their home and ensure that their basement wouldn't be exposed to damaging water conditions. Made up of inorganic material, these planks imitate real hardwood flooring without the risk of rotting or trapping water. ThermalDry Planks have a pegged underside that provides a thermal break between the concrete base and the new floor, as well as allows leaking water to flow beneath it without getting trapped. We also installed our EverLast Walling on half of the wall to eliminate the risk of water damage along the base of the wall where water presence is greater. With these new products, this basement has a beautiful, waterproof finish!
