Most homeowners believe that exterior waterproofing is the best solution but lets break down the steps of exterior waterproofing. First your landscaping around the entire perimeter of your homes foundation needs to be dug out and dug down about 15 feet. A french drain system needs to be installed to collect water but what drain can collect water but not clog from stone or dirt? Each time this drain clogs, the entire landscaping needs to be ripped up again to reach this system to unclog the drain.

Solution

Interior Waterproofing: For this Red Bank basement we recommended a full perimeter system of WaterGuard to collect any water seepage from the ground and the wall. WaterGuard is installed above the foundations footing, which is out of the "mud-zone" so the system will not get clogged and prevent water flow. This system is connected to our TripleSafe Sump which is a three pump system that sits in a protective liner. The airtight lid prevents water evaporation and moisture. The lid also has an alarm system to alert the homeowner of any issues.
