Basement Waterproofing Installation in Orange, NJ
Challenge
Quality 1st Basement Systems received a phone call from a homeowner in Orange, NJ. The homeowner had been experiencing dampness and moisture issues in their basement, and they knew that if the problem was not resolved it would create serious issues in the home. We sent our System Design Specialist, Javier R., to go inspect the home and provide a quote for the homeowner. During his inspection, Javier experienced the dampness and moisture that the homeowner had previously experienced. This indicated that water was seeping into the basement. After his inspection, Javier presented his findings to the homeowner and suggested our WaterGuard French Drain System and Triple Safe Sump Pump.
Solution
Our WaterGuard French Drain System collects water seeping into the basement and directs it to the sump pump. Unlike other French drain systems, Waterguard will not rust, and it's installed on top of your home's foundation footing, preventing it from clogging. The Triple Safe Sump Pump System pumps out the excess water away from the basement. The Triple Safe Sump pump provides three levels of protection. It includes having a backup battery, in case of a power outage, a backup pump, and an alarm or when the water reached the highest point of the sump pump system. With these two systems combined, the basement will stay fully dry and secure all year round. The installation was a success, and the homeowner was happy to see their basement fully waterproofed. They have not experienced any issues in their basement and were satisfied with the services of Quality 1st Basement Systems.
