Challenge

Every time it rained heavily, the Masons had ground water seeping into their finished basement. Over time, this deteriorated the finished walls causing mold, rot, odors, and the loss of the hardwood flooring.

Solution

Quality 1^st Basement Systems WaterGuard Drainage System was installed to drain the seepage into a SuperSump Sump Pump. WaterGuard is a top of the line basement waterproofing system that will ensure that this basement stays dry. An IceGuard Discharge Line was added to the exterior of the home to ensure the system would continue to operate even on the coldest days. The patented IceGuard system is an anti-freeze fitting that is installed outside of your home to keep the drainage system working should it freeze or become clogged.

To refinish the basement, the EverLast Drywall Restoration System, a mold-resistant, washable, and durable wall system was installed. MillCreek Flooring was put in place of the old hardwood floor. A 100% waterproof synthetic wood floor, MillCreek Flooring will not rot or buckle if exposed to moisture. Now with the WaterGuard Drainage System to collect any water seepage and the SuperSump Sump Pump to remove the water, the EverLast Drywall and MillCreek Flooring will give the Masons a finished basement they can enjoy for many years.
