BrightWall and ThermalDry floor fix wet basement
Challenge
A homeowner in Bernardsville had water in his basement. There was also an issue of high humidity, leading to problems of moisture gathering on the floors and wall joints. He wanted to refinish the area to gain some usable space, but first he would have to waterproof the basement. He called Quality 1st Basement Systems and an inspector discovered that mold was beginning to breed in the wet basement.
Solution
Quality 1st Basement Systems had the answers to his problems! The crew installed a TripleSafe sump pump to drain the basement of any water and protect against future moisture. They also installed a WaterGuard to keep water away from the wall joints and a SaniDry system, which helps with dehumidification and air filtration. These products will keep this homeowner’s basement dry and comfortable.
The homeowner also chose to install BrightWall paneling, which are made of semi-rigid white plastic panels. These panels are ideal for brightening up basements and preventing mold growth. The crew also installed the ThermalDry flooring system, which is also made of plastic to ensure mold and moisture will never be an issue again! Now this happy homeowner has a clean, dry space to be used for whatever he needs!
