SuperSump and Waterguard protect Mahwah home
Challenge
A homeowner in Mahwah was suffering with her flooded basement. There was a great deal of water seeping into the basement along the perimeter walls. She had an old sump pump that was not functioning properly and thus not getting the job done. She wanted to issue resolved so that she could use the basement space for storage purposes, without the worry of her personal belongings being ruined. This basement was no longer functional due to the flooding.
Solution
The Quality 1st Basement Systems team was ready to waterproof her basement. They removed her old sump pump and installed a brand new SuperSump sump pump, which will drain any water from the basement to keep it dry. The crew also installed a full perimeter WaterGuard, which will prevent any moisture from seeping into the basement again by taking the water away from her home. An IceGuard was also installed to protect against pipe freezing during cold winter months.
These products are a great solution for this homeowner’s wet basement problem. The combination will discharge any water away from the home’s foundation so that there will be no more flooding in the basement and the space will remain dry and usable. The Mahwah homeowner was very pleased with her dry basement and is now able to make use of the space without any fear of ruined belongings!
