Challenge

A home in Marlboro was having double issues of a wet basement and nasty crawl space; both equally unappealing! The homeowner was a new resident and wanted the issues fixed immediately upon moving in. He decided to call Quality 1st Basement Systems to see what could be done to fix his home’s problems.

Solution

The Quality 1st Basement Systems installation crew installed a TripleSafe sump pump to drain water from the basement, as well as a back up battery system to ensure it would never fail. A WaterGuard was also installed to drain water away from the home’s foundation, along with an IceGuard to protect the pipes from freezing during cold winter months. The homeowner also chose to purchase a SaniDry Air System, which is a dehumidifier and air filtration unit specifically designed to pull moisture and humidity from the air to ensure a dry basement/crawl space.

The Quality 1st Basement Systems crew installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System, which is a plastic liner that will protect the crawl space from outside air and debris, thus preventing humidity and mold growth. It is a more streamlined, clean look for the crawl space. With this combination of products, this Malboro homeowner now has two extra spaces for storage that will making settling into his new home all the better!
