This Bronx, NY homeowner reached out to Quality 1st when the moisture in their finished basement became a concern. Wanting to prevent any damage to their space or to their home's structural integrity, the homeowner was in need of a waterproofing system to help protect their home. Solution
Our System Design Specialist went out to the home to inspect the basement and provide the homeowner with a diagnosis of what the issue was and how we could help resolve it. After the installation quote was approved, our team was able to move forward with equipping this home with the proper waterproofing systems. Our Foreman and crew went out to the home to upgrade the space, starting with our WaterGuard Perimeter Drains. Installed just beneath the basement flooring, these drains form a channel for leaking water to flow through, rather than letting the water settle on top of the floors of the finished basement. These drains lead the water into the new sump pump, our SuperSump Sump Pump System, which gives the basement a reliable water removal system. Our team also installed our EverLast Wall Restoration along the bottom half of the basement walls. These were installed to save the basement from water damage that was previously threatening the walls and ensure that the basement still has a presentable finished look while simultaneously protecting the inside from water. With these systems working together, this home is guaranteed a dry basement and the homeowner can rest assured that their finished space will stay protected from moisture moving forward.
