In the finished basement of this South Richmond Hill, NY home, the homeowner was observing water seeping inside when it rained. Water presence in a home's basement poses a threat to personal items and the home's structural integrity. Solution

We upgraded this basement's waterproofing system by installing a new sump pump, our SuperSump. To ensure leaking water would find its way into this powerful sump pump, WaterGuard Drains were installed along the perimeter of the basement floor. A major entryway for water coming into the basement was through the foundation walls, so we put up our CleanSpace Walling. CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that completely blocks out water coming through the wall and is resistant to mold or mildew growth. These major upgrades to the waterproofing system in this basement are a promising solution to the problems the homeowner was facing.
