A homeowner in Marlboro, NJ, became concerned when they noticed water puddles forming in their basement after heavy rains. The persistent dampness posed significant risks, including mold growth, structural damage, and a decline in indoor air quality. With fears of long-term damage and decreased property value, they knew they needed a reliable solution.

Solution

The homeowner reached out to us for help. Our team assessed the situation and implemented a comprehensive solution. We began by installing the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, excavating a pit for the pump, and ensuring it was connected to a discharge line to redirect water away from the foundation. Next, we laid the WaterGuard French Drain System around the perimeter of the basement, creating a trench to collect any seepage and channel it to the sump pump. To combat humidity, we installed the SaniDry Dehumidifier, connecting it to the sump pump for automatic drainage of collected water. Finally, we applied the CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier System to the basement walls, sealing off moisture and preventing mold growth. With a dry basement, they now enjoy enhanced air quality, reduced risk of mold, and peace of mind knowing their home’s value is protected!

As you can see, this old sump pump cannot properly protect the basement from water intrusion since it's an open pit in the basement.

WaterGuard is installed on top of the foundation footing to be kept out of the mud zone and prevent clogging. CleanSpace will block out moisture and humidity from passing through.
