New Waterproofing System for Allendale, NJ Home
Challenge
A strong, healthy home relies on the stability and durability of the foundation that sits below it. Foundations are poured with concrete, creating a porous structure vulnerable to water intrusion through the walls and flooring of the home's basement or crawl space. A homeowner in Allendale, NJ was observing high volumes of water leaking inside through their basement's floors. Recognizing the damage that water can bring to the health of their home, they turned to Quality 1st for a waterproofing solution that would protect their basement from suffering any longer. Our System Design Specialist Andrew went to the home to assess its specific needs and provide the homeowner with a quote. Once we received their approval, our Foreman Miguel and crew arrived to perform the installation.
Solution
To resolve the basement's water damage, our crew installed a brand new waterproofing system that included a new drain system and sump pump. WaterGuard Perimeter Drains were placed beneath the floor's surface to create a pathway for leaking water to find a way out. These drains were installed to meet at the new TripleSafe Sump Pump where three pumps are working to pump water out of the basement. This powerful new upgrade to the basement provides a reliable solution to disposing of unwanted water. Now, instead of sitting and damaging the basement's structure and health, water is guaranteed to be kept moving outside.
