Waterproofing Basement in Lebanon, NJ Home
Challenge
When water leaks into a finished basement, it is not only a nuisance but also threatens to damage the space's livability and the overall health of the home. For the homeowner of this Lebanon, NJ home, persistent water seepage was resulting in the chalky build-up of efflorescence on the walls, bubbling paint, and pooling water on the floor. These unsightly and damaging conditions pushed the homeowner to search for a waterproofing solution that would restore their basement to the living space it was intended to be. Solution
We performed a half-wall demolition to remove the problem areas that were suffering from water damage and installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier in its place. This liner prevents water from leaking in through the walls, directing it downward into the new drainage system we installed. Our WaterGuard Perimeter Drains were installed beneath the floor's surface to channel leaking water into the new SuperSump sump pump. This powerful waterproofing system with its new components guarantees this basement a dry and healthy environment. Our crew restored the home's living space and satisfied the homeowner's concerns, leaving them with a dry, comfortable, and usable finished basement!
