Waterproof Basement Foor fixes Freehold, NJ Basement
Challenge
A Freehold homeowner wanted to finish his wet basement to use as an extra living space but was not sure where to begin. The basement had flooded many times, damaging both the floors and walls. The entire basement was damp and disgusting; not a very inviting place! He wanted to fix up his dreary basement into a functional room.
Solution
Quality 1st Basement Systems had the solutions for this unhappy homeowner! The Quality 1st Basement Systems team installed a SuperSump sump pump system, which drains water out of the basement, along with a WaterGuard to keep that water flowing out and away from the home’s foundation. The Quality 1st Basement Systems team also hooked up a SaniDry Air System, which dehumidifies and filters air to ensure basements stay dry and cozy.
The Quality 1st Basement Systems crew then worked on installing EverLast Wall Panels to brighten and enhance the look of this basement. Next the team installed ThermalDry Floor Matting, which is a system of modular floor tiles that snap together. These come in carpet or tile styles, and variety of colors. Each ThermalDry piece has raised pegs underneath that create space, which prevents cold air as well as water from seeping through. Now this homeowner has a beautifully finished space that he can fully enjoy!
