Challenge

The owner of this home in Princeton Junction, NJ was in need of basement repair. She noticed that the basement always had a damp, musty smell. She also thought that there might be mold in the basement. Quality 1st Basement Systems inspected the basement and determined that the relative humidity in the basement was very high. High humidity is a great environment for mold growth and should be treated right away. The inspector, Kenny, also noticed that moisture was entering the basement in the form of water vapor through the concrete walls. Concrete is porous and was allowing moisture to get into the basement.

Solution

Quality 1st Basement Systems treated the basement walls with BrightWall Basement Wall Panels.
