Basements don't have to be cold or uncomfortable. Many homeowners have damp, chilly basements that they ignore in favor of the rest of the home. Solution

Quality 1st Basement Systems removed the lower half of the basement drywall and replaced with EverLast basement wall panels. EverLast basement wall panels are made with a washable, durable vinyl. They can be washed easily with just soap and water and will not hold in moisture. Drywall can soak up moisture, so in case the basement floods it will hold onto the water and start to grow black mold, mildew, and give off a musty odor. EverLast basement walls panels also help drain water to the WaterGuard basement drain, which then carries the moisture to a sump pump and desposits it away from the house.

On the floors, Quality 1st Basement Systems installed ThermalDry basement flooring. ThermalDry floor panels are installed piece by piece with an interlocking system. This is a better system than wall to wall carpeting because in case one piece gets damaged, it can easily be removed and swapped out with a new piece. Since installation is so easy, removal does not require another visit by the crew, it can be done by any homeowner. The flooring has a raised peg design which lifts the flooring off of the cold concrete floor, creating a warm thermal break. This keeps the basement floor several degrees warmer.
