Ridgefield homeowner had their previous home waterproofed by Quality 1st Basement Systems and when they purchased their new home, they contacted Qualtiy 1st to come and waterproof their new basement that showed signs of water entry. System Design Specialist, Kenny Tramutola, did a full inspection of the basement and recommended a WaterGuard drainage system and a TripleSafe Sump Pump that work together to collect and direct the water from the basement out and away from the home. An IceGuard was connected to the discharge line to provide the water with an alternative exit in case a pipe were to freeze during the winter months. The homeowner was pleased to see that the clean up the crew did was amazing, making it seem as if they never were there at all. Quality 1st was able to help this family keep their basement nice and dry and look forward to helping them finish their basement come spring.

Water Damage and Broken Sump Pump

This basement had water coming in through the walls after the sump pump failed to turn on. Not only did it no longer work but it wasn't covered allowing water vapors to come out the top of the pump.

Drainage System Installed

WaterGuard was installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing to keep the drainage system out of the mud zone to prevent any clogging and back up. A pipe is attached to the WaterGuard to direct the water from the drain straight to the pump itself.
