Homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems about replacing the sump pump down in the basement and possibly doing something about the humidity and moisture problem they were having as well. System Design Specialist, Mike Bonfante, met with the homeowner and did a full inspection of the basement. He noticed that the present sump pump had no lid which meant that water or water vapors could come up through the top and back out into the basement. Quality 1st Basement systems installed WaterGuard above the footing of the basement floor to collect and direct the water to the TripleSafe Sump Pump. The Pump has a back up battery which will turn on and continue to pump water out if there were a power outage. The crew also installed a SanDry Dehumidifier to circulate dry air throughout the basement. Quality 1st was able to provide a permanent solution to the moisture and water problem this homeowner was experiencing.

Homeowner wanted to replace their sump pump because they were still getting water in their basement from time to time. As much as they kept their store brand dehumidifier on, moisture was still in the basement making it uncomfortable to enjoy.

WaterGuard Drainage System is Installed

WaterGuard is installed to collect and direct any water leaks directly to the sump pump to be pumped out of the basement. WaterGuard is installed above the mud zone to prevent anything from ever being clogged.

IceGuard

IceGuard is attached to the discharge pipe as an alternative exit for water if the pipes were to freeze.

Outlet

The water is pumped up, out and at least 15 feet away from the foundation of the home to prevent it from finding its way back inside.

TripleSafe Sump Pump and SaniDry Dehumidifier.

The SaniDry Dehumidifier was made to circulate dry air in large basements without using as much energy as a store brand would use, making it an energy saver. TripleSafe Sum Pump has a sealed tight lid to prevent water and water vapors from coming through the top.
