A Wyckoff, NJ family had a sump pump but their basement was still damp and had a musty odor. They tried painting the walls with the waterproof paint but it was unsuccessful. Running out of options they contacted quality 1st Basement Systems who set System Design Specialist, Jeff Nero out to meet with them. Jeff noticed water stains along the walls by the windows and other corners of the walls. Jeff recommended replacing the existing sump pump system and the basement windows which was allowing water into the basement. The homeowner wanted to give the basement a more finished look and so Jeff recommended BrightWall. The team Installed WaterGuard french drain system to collect the water and direct it to the sump pump. The existing sump pump was replaced with a SuperSump pump system to properly pump out water to keep the basement dry. An additional sump pump system was installed to completely waterproof the basement of that size. The windows were replaced to seal off the basement from water and air leaks. The old window well was rusted and cracked so a new SunHouse Window Well was installed to maximize sunlight in the basement. BrightWall is then installed to give the basement a warm and clean look to allow close friends and family enjoy the basement again. The family was amazed at the basement transformation and relieved that water will no longer be a concern in the basement. Sump Pump Replacement

A SuperSump pump was installed to properly pump water from the basement to keep it clean and dry. The SuperSump pump has a sealed lid to prevent water vapor from rising back up into the basement.

New Windows Installed

New windows were installed to seal off the basement and provide natural lighting while giving the outside a better curb appeal.

SunHouse Window Wells

The old window wells were cracked and rusted and so Quality 1st replaced them with SunHouse Window Wells that will protect the basement from rain, dirt and snow. This will bring in more natural sunlight to the basement while preventing water leaks and entry of rodents and pests.
