Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Work Out World in Edison, NJ

A Gym located in Edison, New Jersey was experiencing water coming in through the basement wall. The operation director contacted us at Quality 1st Basements, we're the local waterproofing experts, for a solution. Our System Design Specialist, Jeff Nero went to inspect the space and noticed the water damage on the floors and walls. He saw efflorescence on parts of the wet foundation walls.  He suggested a full waterproofing system! The WaterGuard system is installed underneath the floor slab, on top of the foundation footing to make sure the system is out of the mud zone to prevent clogging. Foreman, Juan Garcia and his crew installed the WaterGuard system with minimal invasion and the concrete was restored after installation. The WaterGuard system collects water that seeps through the walls and drains it to the sump pump. Juan and his team also installed a sump pump to drain out the water coming in. The TripleSafe Sump Pump was installed. This pump provides three levels of protection with three pumps, in case of failure. This pump also has an UltraSump battery backup, which can pump 11,500 gallons of water or more on a fully charged battery. With the WaterGuard and sump pump installed, this basement is fully functional and ready to be used.
