Leaky Vertical Crack in Basement
This vertical crack on the basement wall had the homeowner worried and for a good reason! The amount of damage that has been done here by water is astonishing. It has worked its way through concrete, staining the wall and floor and all the while compromising the structure of this foundation wall.
Outdated Sump Pump
It is clear that this homeowner was hoping to use this basement space for other purposes but until that big crack in the basement wall is repaired and the intruding water is controlled, it is too risky to finish anything here. The older sump pump that you can see in the corner can't handle the water problems that this Hazlet home was experiencing and it is a danger to any toddler that gets too close to that pit in the floor.
Crack Repair in Progress
This is a photo of the Quality 1st crew carefully repairing the basement wall crack. Notice the stains on the wall around the crack that were caused by water seeping through the wall. If water can do this to concrete, what do you think it will do to natural materials such as wood in your furniture?
SuperSump Sump Pump Installed
To keep this basement dry, the homeowner needed the proper equipment installed and in this case it was the SuperSump sump pump. Powerful enough to pump out the water that this basement was experiencing and safe as well due to its unique dual-lid liner cover design.
Discharge Line
What a great picture of how virtually invisible the discharge line is. This photo was taken immediately after the discharge line was cover up again with soil and grass so imagine what it will look like once it all grows over nicely? You can also see our IceGuard that is installed to insure the SuperSump sump pump drains in all kinds of weather. Our LawnScape also allows the homeowner to mow his lawn without worrying about running over a drain or rodents entering his home through the discharge line.
