Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard Installed in Flemington, NJ Basement
A homeowner in Flemington, New Jersey had water coming into their basement through the walls during heavy rains and contacted Quality 1st for a solution. WaterGuard was installed along the perimeter of the basement, underneath the floor slab, on top of the foundation footing to make sure the system does not clog. WaterGuard collects water that seeps through the basement walls and drains it to the sump pump. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System was installed to keep water out of the basement. This sump pump system is a more economical solution that will keep the basement dry during times of heavy water intrusion and can pump 2,220 gallons of water per hour at an 8-foot head out of the basement. This system also has an optional backup battery that can pump 11,500 gallons of water or more on a single charge. TrenchLock Drain Inserts were also installed in an existing trench drain to allow water down without allowing air to come up. TrenchLock is designed to block unwanted ground air and gasses from entering the basement and the home.
