Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Quality 1st Waterproofs Ridgefield Basement

Water destroyed the tile floor and turned this Ridgefield basement into wet, wasted space. The homeowner had a built-in work bench on one wall that he wanted to save and asked if the WaterGuard System could still be installed. Vaughn assured him that that Quality 1st would do their best to save it. In addition to the WaterGuard System, Vaughn recommended the TripleSafe Sump Pump to insure all the water would be removed and the IceGuard Drainage System to prevent the lines from freezing during the long winter months. Trench Drains on the basement entrance and the adjacent garage would keep the water from entering at those points. A CleanSpace Wall System would channel any seepage from the cinder block foundation into the WaterGuard System and insure a dry basement. Foreman, Jesus Alvarez-Sanchez and the Quality 1st crew arrived on time and worked hard to install the Basement Waterproofing System in record time. Destroyed Work Bench

Here is the homeowner's workbench that shows water damage from his leaky basement. He asked us to save it during construction and our crew did everything they could not to damage it but you can see here that most of the damage was already done by water and humidity.

Basement Drainage System

This is the entrance to the garage and you can see how the Trench Drain is installed in to prevent water from entering by the garage door. The bent line that is connected to the Trench Drain is the drainage system that guides water back to the sump pump which then in turn gets it out of your basement.

Flooded Basement Damage

Basement Trench Drain

Here is another shot of our waterproofing system as it is being installed. Around the corner of this wall is the garage door and that is where we installed the Trench Drain that is connected to the sump pump that sits in the lowest spot in the basement.
