Due to excessive flooding, this Animal Hospital was unable to use their basement to store their supplies. They contacted Quality 1st Basements to provide them with a solution to the flooding. Our System Design Specialist, Jonathan, headed out and inspected the site. Jonathan was able to design a solution that fit their needs. On the day of the installation, our team led by Juan G., installed WaterGuard, a sump pump. CleanSpace walling and a dehumidifier. Each of the products that were installed work together to ensure that the basement will stay dry no matter what the weather is.

The space was damp and had many signs of water entry and moisture throughout.

WaterGuard & CleanSpace Wall Installation

WaterGuard captures the water seeping through walls and leaks along the wall/floor joint. The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier assists in directing that water seepage straight to the Sump Pump. Being a bright white liner, it also gives the basement a much brighter and cleaner appearance.

Completed WaterGuard Installation

Our Team will cover the WaterGuard french drain system with concrete to keep the system in place above the footing of the foundation but also to allow the option for flooring in the future.

SaniDry Dehumidifier

The SaniDry Dehumidifier was installed to make sure that all moisture in the basement will be eliminated.

The SumpPump

Our team installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump to pump out all water coming into the basement. The TripleSafe Sump Pump is equipped with a backup battery so that the pump can continue to get rid of the water even if the power goes out. If for some reason the pump is beginning to fail, it is also equipped with an alarm system that will notify the owner before it is too late.
