A customer of ours referred their friend to Quality 1st Basement Systems when they mentioned their water issues in their basement. We sent a System Design Specialist out to inspect the basement and offer a permanent solution to protect their home and family. Upon inspection our Specialist noticed water seepage through the walls and corners where the wall and floor met. Efflorescence was on three other walls where the water was visible to the homeowner. The basement was unfinished but with plans to finish it in the future, they needed a system that would keep this space dry and protected. We recommended a full waterproofing system which included our WaterGuard French Drain System, TripleSafe Sump Pump and our IceGuard.

Existing Sump Pump Failed

Pumps can fail for many reasons. The most common one we have seen, is failure to maintain. Our Systems are annual maintenance by our trained Service Technicians who will not only clean your sump pump but flood test it too to make sure its working properly and keeping your basement dry

Wet Basement

When our System Design Specialist went down to do his inspection, right away he could see the small puddles of water.

WaterGuard

Our french drain system known as WaterGuard, is installed above the footing out of the mud zone. This prevents damage or clogging to the drain. The WaterGuard collects the water seepage from the walls and the floor.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

Next, our Sump Pump System is installed and connected to the WaterGuard so that all the water can flow in and be pumped out. We also install our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier above the WaterGuard before the stone and concrete to prevent moisture from seeping through.

Full Waterproofing System Installed
