Existing Sump Pump
The existing sump system was no longer working properly to protect this basement. With no lid, water vapor could easily evaporate into the basement causing dampness and a musty odor. With a failing pump, water ultimately found its way through the foundation.
Preparing the French Drain Installation
Our team begins preparing for the french drain system known as WaterGaurd. Unlike other contractors, Quality 1st installs their WaterGuard French Drain System above the footing, so that its out of the mudzone where clogging can occur.
After
Our WaterGuard French Drain is covered with stone and concrete to protect the system from damage.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System Installed
Our TripleSafe provides triple the amount of protect with its three sump pumps inside a protective liner. The airtight lid has an alarm system built in to alert the homeowner of any concerns. We also recommended our back up battery to ensure the pump continues to protect and direct water out even in a power outage.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
We installed CleanSpace Vapor Barrier on the walls to prevent water and moisture from coming through the foundation walls. CleanSpace is waterproof and mold resistant creating a healthier space in the basement.
Window Replacement
Our specialist noticed the basement windows were not properly sealed letting moisture and water through.
New Windows
The new windows will prevent water leaks and moisture all while still providing natural lighting.
IceGuard
We know frozen pipes can lead to a disaster and so we always recommend our IceGuard System which provides water with an alternative exit at the openings at the top if the discharge line freezes. This will prevent water from recycling back through the system.
