Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Dry Waterproof Basement in Bridgewater, NJ

A resident in Bridgewater, New Jersey noticed that their basement had been producing a lot of moisture and water. This can happen if the outside environment air is getting into the basement, and also water damage from heavy rainfall. Our System Design Specialist, JC Gibriano, helped the homeowner come up with a plan for this issue. Our team, installed the WaterGuard Drain System along the perimeter of the basement floor. This system goes underneath the basement slab and collects water and then drains it to the sump pump. We also replaced the homeowner's old pump system and installed the SuperSump Pump System, which will drain water out of the basement and keep it dry. With these systems in place, the homeowner has a reliable waterproofed basement.

Old Pump Drainage System

This is the homeowner's old sump pump that is not reliable, and does not do the proper job of keeping water out of the basement.

Weepholes

This picture shows how much water was in the basement walls. The foreman drilled holes into the wall to let out any water seepage. This was the result.

Installation Process of WaterGuard

The WaterGuard French Drain System accepts water from the walls and creates a channel for to flow directly into the sump pump area.

Finished Installation of WaterGuard

WaterGuard sits on top of the footing of the foundation, out of the bud zone to prevent damage and clogging.

SuperSump Installation Finished

This is the new SuperSump that is installed in the basement. This system also has an airtight lid to prevent water from evaporating into the basement.
