A Woodbury, NJ homeowner contacted Quality 1st when they became concerned with the water finding its way inside with heavy rains. Water damage in a basement is a great threat to the safety and health of a home. Our team was able to assess the problems in this basement and provide an installation that best met the homeowner's needs. We installed our WaterGuard Perimeter Drains just beneath the floor's surface to create a channel for leaking water to flow through and make its way into the sump pump for proper removal. The bottom half of the walls were covered with CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to direct leaking water downward and into the new drainage system. Lastly, we replaced the basement's old window wells with our SunHouse Windows. These wells are made of durable material that won't rust and have a fitted cover that seals off outside conditions. Insufficient Waterproofing System

This basement had minimal protection against leaking water. Water that was collected in the basement wasn't making it into the sump pump to be disposed of properly.

Old Window Wells

These outdated window wells were a place for debris to build up and water to leak through.

Installing Water Chanel

Our crew dug pathways for our WaterGuard to be installed beneath the floor surface. These drains are lined around the perimeter and allow water to find its way into the sump pump.

New Drainage System

The new waterproofing system includes the CleanSpace vapor barrier to direct water down into the new WaterGuard Drains. This system will prevent water from flooding the basement floors and guarantee water will be pumped out of the home.

New Window Well

Our SunHouse Window Well protects the window from exposure to rain, weather, and debris while allowing more sunlight inside to brighten up the basement.
