Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: New Waterproofing System for Basement in Middletown, NJ

A finished basement in Middletown, NJ was in need of an upgraded waterproofing system to resolve its problems with persistent water leaking through the walls. The homeowner recognized the progressive damage that leaking water could cause so they contacted Quality 1st to tackle the repairs necessary for their home. Once we were able to assess the space, we went in to install a new waterproofing system that would guarantee the home a dry basement. We installed our WaterGuard Perimeter Drains to create a channel for leaking water to run through and make it into the new TripleSafe Sump Pump. The walls were partially demoed to install our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to prevent water from seeping through the walls. Outdated Sump Pump

The sump pump that was responsible for keeping this basement free of leaking water was outdated and simply could not keep the finished living space dry and comfortable.

During Waterproofing Installation

Our crew performs a partial demolition on the basement walls to install a vapor barrier along the base of the wall. This installation resolves any issues with water seeping through the walls which was the main point of concern for this home.

CleanSpace and WaterGuard

The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System directs leaking water from the walls down into the WaterGuard drainage system, ensuring water stays out of sight and flows into the sump pump.

Finished Waterproofed Space

Once the WaterGuard Drains are sealed with cement, this basement has a completed waterproofing system with a vapor barrier, drainage system, and new sump pump.
