This homeowner in Crownsville, MD was interested in finishing their basement but wanted to make sure their basement was fully waterproofed. They called Quality 1st Basements who performed a full assessment of their basements needs. Our System Design Specialist suggested CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to block off moisture for the walls from filtering into the basement air. WaterGuard was also installed to drain the water from the walls and direct it to the sump pump. A TripleSafe sump pump was installed to provide the ultimate moisture protection with its three pumps. The basement was finished with Everlast Wall Panels to transform the basement into a beautiful space that could now be used as a spare room of the homeowner's choosing.

CleanSpace Application

CleanSpace was applied to the walls to keep moisture from affecting the basement. WaterGuard was installed under the floor slab to drain water from the wall and direct it towards the sump pump.

TripleSafe

The TripleSafe sump pump has two backup pumps that will kick on if the main pump stops working due to a power outage or an overflow of water.

Basement Transformation

The basement is completely transformed with Everlast Wall Finishing Panels. The space can now be used as an additional room that is comfortable and fully safe from water damage.
