Quality 1st Basement Systems was contacted by a homeowner in New Brunswick, NJ about a concrete repair project. The homeowner discovered their sidewalk was sinking and wanted to have it repaired. Sinking concrete can create issues around your home such as tripping hazards. Another issue it could create is decreasing the property value of the home.
We had our System Design Specialist, Alvin R., inspect the sidewalk. During his inspection, Alvin measured the sinking concrete and checked for cracks. After, he presented his findings to the homeowner and suggested the Polylevel Injection would be the best repair method.

The repair process began with our crew drilling small holes into the concrete slab. They then used specially designed equipment to inject the polyurethane foam into the void. Once the void has been filled, the polyurethane foam expands and lifts the concrete slab. This process is repeated until the entire sidewalk is repaired.
