Concrete Repair in Clarksboro, NJ
Challenge
Quality 1st Basement Systems was contacted by a homeowner in Clarksboro, NJ about a concrete repair job. The homeowner discovered their concrete steps had drastically sunk on its right side, making the entire stairway completely slanted. This would eventually cause tripping hazards if not repaired. Our System Design Specialist, Chris B., inspected the concrete steps. After, he presented his findings to the homeowner and suggested it be repaired using the Polylevel Injection Method. The homeowner agreed, and within the next few days, our crew arrived to repair the concrete.
Solution
Unlike other repair methods, PolyLevel has simple step-by-step instructions. First, our crew drilled small, penny-like holes into the uneven concrete slab. Next, they used specially designed equipment to inject polyurethane foam into the void between the concrete and the Earth. Once the void has been filled, the polyurethane foam expands and lifts the concrete slab to its original height. This process is repeated until the concrete is lifted. PolyLevel is a durable and long-lasting solution for concrete repair. Some of the benefits of injecting PolyLevel are that its waterproof and environmentally friendly. After, our crew did a final cleanup while the polyurethane foam recovered. After fifteen minutes of recovery, the concrete steps were repaired! The homeowner was very satisfied with the services of Quality 1st Basement Systems.
