Concrete Repair Around Pool Deck in West Deptford, NJ
Challenge
A homeowner in West Deptford, NJ, contacted Quality 1st with a pressing concern: the concrete surrounding their pool deck had sunk by two inches, creating a significant tripping hazard. The homeowner was understandably worried about both the safety risks posed by the uneven surface and the potential for damage to the pool liner during any repair process. Ensuring the safety and stability of the area was crucial, as was protecting the homeowner’s investment in their pool. Following this, our Customer Care team scheduled a free estimate and inspection appointment with our System Design Specialist, David.
Solution
David proposed an effective solution utilizing our advanced PolyLevel and NexusPro systems. PolyLevel is an innovative foam injection technique that allows for precise lifting of uneven concrete slabs back to their original position without the invasiveness or extended timeframes of traditional methods. To address the cracks between the slabs, we utilized NexusPro, a durable sealant designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, including UV rays and extreme weather.
Our skilled team, led by our experienced concrete foreman, Ramon, began the process by carefully injecting PolyLevel under the lifted slabs, successfully raising them back into place. Following this, we meticulously applied NexusPro to ensure a seamless blend with the surrounding area. Throughout the entire process, we took special care to protect the pool liner, just as we had assured the homeowner.
The results were highly satisfying: the concrete around the pool was safely leveled without disturbing the pool liner, enhancing both the safety and aesthetic appeal of the area. The homeowner could enjoy peace of mind, knowing that the tripping hazard had been effectively addressed and the integrity of their pool was preserved.
