Challenge
A homeowner located in North Wales, PA, was facing ongoing settlement issues around their sidewalk. This issue was resulting in concerns about potential tripping hazards and a decline in the visual appeal of the entire walkway. Concrete settlement can occur when uncontrollable environmental factors such as poorly compressed soil, moisture, and exposure to sunlight cause slabs to become increasingly disheveled and uneven. Overtime this can create unsafe walking conditions for visitors, after considering this, the homeowner sought out a permanent repair solution.
Solution
To offer the homeowner with the most effective concrete repair approach, we had our system design specialist Brandon conduct an extensive inspection on the walkway. Then our foreman Ash and his crew began administering our specially formulated PolyLevel Foam Injections. This process ultimately lifted and restored the sunken portions of concrete to their original leveled height, as well as, increasing the load bearing capabilities of the sidewalk. In order to ensure that the walkway was safeguarded against erosion, the crew carried out an application of our ultraviolet resistant NexusPro Joint Sealant, directly into the cracks and crevices of the slabs. With these powerfully restorative products in place, we have successfully eliminated concrete settlement issues, supplying the homeowner with a completely renewed sense of pride in their home!
