Sinking Pool Slabs Raised in Northvale, NJ

Challenge

A homeowner in Northvale, NJ noticed two concrete slabs were sinking around his pool. They were sinking more over time, and he knew the problem would not fix itself. Nervous about trip hazards, especially right next to an in-ground pool, he called Quality 1st Basement Systems for a free inspection. Inspector Collin Peare came out to the property and found that the concrete slabs were installed in the backyard over 30 years ago. The homeowner told Collin that as the weather changed with the seasons and after heavy storms the concrete was sinking more and more. He was worried about people running along the concrete and wanted the problem fixed for good for the safety of his family and friends that came over to use the pool. Collin Peare measured the slabs and found that they had sunk over two inches and had begun to crack due to stress over time.

Solution

Quality 1st Basement Systems injected PolyLEVEL under the sinking slabs to raise them back into place. PolyLEVEL is a state of the art approach to repairing sinking concrete.
