Concrete Lifting and Leveling Photo Album: Concrete Raising around Pool Deck in Somerset, NJ

A customer of Quality 1st Basements was preparing to open their pool up since warm weather was approaching. They noticed in lifting their pool cover that a few concrete slabs had settled creating a small trip hazard around the edge of the pool. Our Concrete Repair Specialist, Jay Alvarez, went out to measure the concrete settlement and discuss raising options with the homeowner. Jay noticed roughly an inch of settlement and few slabs that had begun to crack due to unevenness.   Ash and his team arrived on time and prepped the entire area to make sure no outside furniture or pool equipment was near the installation area. His team drilled small penny size holes into the concrete slab and injected our PolyLevel solution. PolyLevel is a lightweight foam that is waterproof and environmental friendly making it the perfect solution for this sinking concrete pool area. PolyLevel expands under the slab to fill any voids. Once all the voids are filled, PolyLevel begins to raise the slab back towards its original level. Once leveled, PolyLevel then hardens to prevent future settlement, permeability stabilizing the concrete.
